Since we opened in 1998 we have supported the efforts of charities that knit hats, blankets and sweaters for those who are ill or needy. Hope & Barry recently presented over 600 balls of yarns to Ms. Isabel Margolin, who was then President of National Council of Jewish Women, Essex County Section.   The yarn was then distributed to members of their Gifted Hands team to create knitted items for area hospitals and organizations working with the homeless.  We donate regularly to Cancer Care groups and others that produce knit items for those in need.
